what now?

So many opinions have been given regarding the "gloria-gate tapes", and GMA's confession... after all the talk, the question that hangs is "what now?"

Did GMA's confession / apology Monday night solve anything? Did it really answer the question about tapes, the alleged cheating and what have yous? What is the point? really, what is the point of arguing or analyzing her speech if it really did not solve nor answer the real question? Why dwell on something that is not said?

Before doing anything drastic ... let us ask ourselves... What can we do (as a citizen) about this? Is there a better alternative to GMA? Is what the opposition offering better than the present situation? If we change leaders, will it change anything in our country and our lives?

It is not just a matter of changing leaders but more of a change in morality and integrity among our leaders and the attitude we have. Does a change in leadership really mean a better country? or will it just be the same "play" with different actors?

tama ka, kapatid. sana huwag magpaka-OA ang pinoy.

i didn't like GMA's speech that monday night, pero i absolutely hated susan roces' speech yesterday at lunch time! napapamura na lang ako sa mga pangyayari. instead of helping unite the country, some people are even pushing for the opposite. hay naku!

hay naku talaga... this is such a divided country and I fear that this attitude will only make the economy and the country worse off. Sad talaga, no wonder more and more Filipinos are losing hope.
