This reaction from the national government is an over kill:
MALACAÑANG has offered to make Fernando Poe Jr. a national artist and broached the idea of burying him at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
The Palace offer is wildly perceived to be attempts at appeasing the angry supporters of the king of Philippine movies.
And it does not stop there... At the House of Representatives and the Senate, allies of the actor are appealing for the Philippine flag to fly at half-staff in his honor.
I mean, we all know that the late FPJ was well loved by the people from all walks of life, but does politicis have to play a role at this time?
