elections

it seems that election fever is upon us the whole year...

In May, the Philppines had its Presidential election, where until the very end, it was too close to call (on who would win). The GMA camp was churning out one poll after another reflecting her victory, while the FPJ camp was also coming out with its own version of the polls. Naturally, as what happens in the Philippines, the incumbent always wins. They have the power, the machinery, the money and the people to cheat and eventually win. As expected, the FPJ camp cried foul for no one in this lovely country loses... they are always cheated. Election protest is now pending with the electoral tribunal.

A number of countries also had their own national elections... Indonesia, Afganistan, the UK, Australia, etc... but no other country is more watched and anticipated than that of the Presidential elections of the United States. Today, November 2 is D day... the day where Americans decide if they want a bully or a "flip-flop" for a leader.

For the Filipinos, will it matter who wins?
